U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) requires drug and alcohol testing of Commercial Drivers and other safety-sensitive employees. This testing must be initiated by trained supervisors.

Ben Watson M.D. founded Central Medical Review in 1991 and has been deeply engaged since inception of drug-free workplace programs for companies of all sizes involved with transportation in particular and commerce in general.

TrainingWeb courses offer understanding of regulations and practical strategies for supervisors to recognize and act upon indications of illicit use of drugs and alcohol as they impact the workplace.

DOT requires that employers of commercial drivers have supervisors trained to initiate drug and/or alcohol tests if there is “Reasonable Suspicion” of violations of drug and alcohol regulations. This course provides certification of such training.

Many companies not regulated by DOT require drug and alcohol testing. TrainingWeb courses provide information about illicit drug and alcohol use and testing for any company with a drug-free workplace program or planning to develop such policies.
